Coach to Player Communication
As a team orientated sport, football requires each player perform the responsibilities of their individual position for the team to be successful. One of the ways the Armstrong Football coaching staff emphasizes personal responsibility to the players in their program is to communicate practice changes, team information, etc. through a group communications app called Band (https://band.us/home). If your player has a cell phone, they will be asked to install this app to receive these communications. Contact Coach Rogers ([email protected]) if you have any questions |
Volunteering
You and your player’s involvement are critical to the success of our program. Players and parents participate in several major fundraisers and numerous activities throughout the year to keep our program strong and offset operating costs. All parents are expected to volunteer for three fundraising events such as basketball fundraisers (admissions, concessions, etc), Cub bagging events or even helping with picture day.
In addition, we ask that Freshman and Sophomore parents volunteer to work the football concession stand or other tasks during the four home varsity games. Each family is required to work 2 home games. We appreciate you keeping our tradition alive by allowing Junior and Senior parents to watch their players on game night. Thank you for your help!
